4th Annual Germanfest

Saturday October 6

Noon- 11p.m.

Webster Armory

 

Germanfest has been held annually for the past 3 years at varying locations in Webster, SD.

 

Some of the staples that you can look forward to this year include.

 

Germanfest Run/Walk 5K

Registration 8 a.m.

Run 9:30 a.m.

Runners and walkers are encouraged to wear their best Lederhosen and Dirndl attire as there will be awards for

Best Dressed Male and Female

Fastest Runner Male and Female

 

Registration for this event starts at 8 a.m. Saturday October, 6 at the Reporter & Farmer Newspaper in Webster.

The run starts at 9:30 a.m. and a route will be marked.

 

There will be shower facilities available after the event

$20 until July 31

$25 until September 30

Vendor Fair

Noon-4 p.m.

With over 20 vendors in attendance in 2017, you're sure to find some good deals. The vendor fair has something for everyone.

Kuchen Contest

Judging 1 p.m.

Tasting 2 p.m.

Entries for the Kuchen contest are due by 1 p.m. at the Webster Armory.

Coffee and kuchen tasting following judging at 2 p.m.

German Meal

4-7 p.m.

Get a taste of Germany right here in Webster!

The German meal consists of Schnitzel, Spaetzle, Brats, Kraut, Pommes (Fries) and Coleslaw.

Tickets are available at Mike's Jack & Jill, Reporter & Farmer and A Cut Above.

Fun and Games

Beer Tasting - $5

There will also be things for the children to do here as well.

Inflatables - $7   Noon-4 p.m.

Coloring Contest

Hammerschlagen

 

Wendinger Band

7-11 p.m.

No charge, all ages welcome

The night ends with the Wendinger Band

Put on your dancing shoes and enjoy the night.
