Casey Zochert, Webster was recognized at James-town College Honors Convo-cation for making the dean's list.
Superiors earned
Webster High School band, concert choir and women's choir earned superiors at the Region 3 large group contest in Milbank on May 7. Scores were based on tone quality, rhythm accuracy, intonation, balance and blend and musicianship. Directors are Patty Baule and Margaret Trefz.
Piano recital
Piano students of Sandy Dingsor presented a spring recital in Summit. performing were Jenna and Jill donald, Courtney Arthur, Kristin and Meggan kowalski, Jenna and Monica larson, Emily, Michael and Sarah Miller, Levi Olson, Brook Pies, Sophia Seffrood, Abby Stormo, Renae Zirbel, Traci and Jared Storms. students of the month J. larson, L. Olson, M. Larson, B. Pies, S. Seffrood and T. Storms were recognized. Levi Olson was student of the year. Students also participated in SD bandmaster’s piano contest. Awards received were superior plus-J. and M. Larson; superior-C. Arthur, M. Kowalski, M. Miller, A. Stormo; excellent-E. Miller.
MSU graduates
Minnesota State university, Moorhead awarded degrees May 9. Receiving bachelor of science degrees were Katie Walker, Roslyn, graphic communications and Ashley wilkinson, webster, summa cum laude, elementary education.
