Veterans are reminded that tax season is a good time to update health records with their 2019 1040 and medical expenses. VA healthcare can supplement a veteran’s current healthcare. Call Marcia or Kevin at the Day County Veterans Service Office, 345-9512 Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
In response to Gov. Noem’s direction of school closure through May 1, all SDHSAA spring sports practices and competitions are canceled through May 3. The SDHSAA Board of Directors will meet to decide on the spring sports season and suspended/postponed events of state basketball, visual arts, region music and All-State Band. The agenda will be posted to the SDHSAA website when finalized and advance notice of the meeting to be held via teleconference and live streamed for the public will be given per South Dakota Codified Law. Questions may be directed to SDHSAA executive director Dan Swartos.

Webster City Council special meeting is March 30, 1:00 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda includes Second Reading Ordinance #521, emergency ordinance to address a public health crisis and executive session if needed.
