Serving the Day County area since 1881
Reporter & Farmer
The Reporter and Farmer will strive to serve its readers and advertisers throughout the Day County area. Our newspaper will be politically independent, issue driven and fair. We will offer readers a balanced view and historic record of the week. We provide a public forum, through letters to the editor, where subscribers and readers can express their views and opinions. Our employees are encouraged to provide customers with excellent service and to play an active role in the community in which they live.
Letters policy
Letters to the editor discussing community issues are encouraged. Letter writers should be aware that the Reporter & Farmer reserves the right to edit and/or condense letters for print. The paper also reserves the right not to publish letters that are unsuitable or for which it might be held legally liable.
Letters should contain the writer's printed or typed name, signature, address and telephone number. Addresses and telephone numbers will not be published.
Letter writers are asked to limit themselves to one letter per month. Please keep letter brief, preferably not over 350 words, and to the point. Letters must be submitted to the Reporter and Farmer by 4 p.m. Wednesday.
