City of Webster council meeting is June 5, 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall council room. Agenda includes first reading Ordinance #539, resignation letter of James Van Elsacker, Lance Rokusek certified June 2, award bids Phase II Sewer Project, West Nile grant application, electric licenses, dump truck, advertise for bids, hire summer help; building permits and executive session if needed.
Webster Area Chamber of Commerce golf tournament is June 22, 9:30 a.m. at Webster Golf Course. Register by June 20 at webstersd.com, Dacotah or CorTrust banks.
Westside Wesleyan Church, Bristol events June 4 and 11 are Sunday school, 10 a.m. and worship, 11 a.m. Vacation Bible school runs June 5-8, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
James Valley Threshing Association Car & Truck & Tractor Show is June 10 on Main St., Andover. Registration begins at 10 a.m. with the show from noon to 3 p.m. Highlights include entertainment, horseshoes and cornhole games.
Benefit for Britiny Schultz is June 9, 5-7 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Webster. Event includes a carnival with supper and silent auction.
Vinegar Festival parade is June 17, 11 a.m. To enter, call Dick, (320) 808-8873.
Roslyn’s kick off to summer event featuring Greg Hanson & the Backroads is June 16, 8:30 p.m., gates open at 6.
Vinegar Festival is June 17 in Roslyn. Events include parade at 11, Vinegar Queen coronation, entertainment, kids’ tractor pull, bean bag tournament, petting zoo and evening street dance.
