Charity night
Museum of Wildlife, Science & Industry’s first annual charity night is March 13, 6 p.m. at The Galley, Webster. Advance tickets are available from board members, CorTrust, Dacotah or Great Western banks, Dave Hahler automotive or the office of G. Todd Garry/Chamber.

Supper and meeting
Sun Dial Manor pancake supper is March 13, 5:30-7:30 p.m. with the annual meeting and election of directors at 7:30.

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church pancake brunch is March 22, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in Waubay School Commons.

Food vendors wanted
Non-profit and profit food vendor registration forms are available at Webster Area Chamber of Commerce office for the Webster stop of Tour de Kota bike tour June 10-11. Deadline for registration is March 24.

Soccer registration
Webster Area Soccer Assn. spring soccer registration is March 9, 4-6:30 p.m. at Webster City Hall. Adult referees are needed.

VFW/Auxiliary meet Webster VFW will meet March 9, 7 p.m. in the VFW clubroom. The auxiliary will meet at the same time.

Roslyn meeting
Roslyn School Board will meet March 8, 7:30 p.m. Agenda includes old business and new business including hiring Michael Dunn for summer driver’s education, Title I summer school, other business, reports and discussion.

Cabaret night
Webster High School cabaret night is March 16 at the Webster Armory. dinner begins at 6 p.m., preshow ensembles at 7 and main show featuring jazz choir and band at 7:30. Tickets may be purchased from music students or the school, 345-4653.

Waubay after prom
Waubay after prom committee will meet March 11, 7 p.m. in the Waubay School Commons.

Agronomists to visit
Agronomy coffee clutch is March 18, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the H.O.T. Spot, Bristol. SDSU Cooperative extension agronomy educators Margaret James and Ron Dodds will discuss topics of interest to producers.

Webster meetings
Webster School Board meets March 8, 6 p.m. agenda includes approval of temperorary salaries, amend 2009-10 calendar, discussion items and executive sessnion if needed.
Webster Area School Board will follow. Agenda includes approval of the 2010-11 calendar; discussion on driver’s education, elementary renovation project and executive session.

Deadline approaches
The scholarship application deadline is March 19 for 12 $500 citizenship and community service scholarships sponsored by Venture communications Telephone cooperative.
Judging of applications will be based on local community involvement and citizenship with credit given for academics and leadership skills. Only students whose parents are customers of Venture communications are eligible.
